STORY STADIUM  

Opened on March 28, 1929, the Chicago Stadium served host to numerous sporting events, concerts and political conventions. Built at a cost of $7 million, the Madhouse on Madison served as the home of the Chicago Bulls (1967-1994) and the Chicago Blackhawks (1929-1994) through the end of their respective seasons in 1994.

The rights to draft number 1, the Bulls win the selected first men that have the ability to help the team to go to the glory. With this, men the team transform in a best team. On June 26, 2008, the Chicago Bulls native Derrik Rose as the Number 1 draft picks. Rose started his rookie year strong, becoming the first Bulls draftee to score 10 points or more in his first 10 games since Michael Jordan, and earned Eastern Conference, Rose played in the Rokiee Chalenge, and won the trophy of the best of the world, where he beat out several All-Stars to become the first rookie to claim the trophy. Overcoming a January and February slump, Rose returned to form and won monthly rookie honors in March.

Jordan was a shooting guard who was also accomplished  of playing small forward (the position he would primarily play during his second return to professional basketball with the Washington Wizards). Jordan was known throughout his career for being a strong clutch performer. In 1988, Jordan was honored with the NBA's Defensive Player of the Year Award and became the first NBA player to win both the Defensive Player of the Year and MVP awards in a career (since equaled by Hakeem Olajuwon, David Robinson, and Kevin Garnett; Olajuwon is the only player other than Jordan to win both during the same season). In addition he set both seasonal and career records for blocked shots by a guard, and combined this with his ball-thieving ability to become a standout defensive player. His 2,514 steals are second highest all-time behind John Stockton, while his steals per game average is third all-time. Jerry West often stated that he was more impressed with Jordan's defensive contributions than his offensive ones.

WHAT IS THE BASKETBALL?
Basketball is a team sport, the objective being to shoot a ball through a basket horizontally positioned to score points while following a set of rules. Usually, two teams of five players play on a marked rectangular court with a basket at each width end. Basketball is one of the world's most popular and widely viewed sports.
A regulation basketball ring consists of a rim 18 inches in diameter and 10 feet high mounted to a backboard. A team can score a field goal by shooting the ball through the basket during regular play. A field goal scores two points for the shooting team if a player is touching or closer to the basket than the three-point line, and three points (known commonly as a 3 pointer or three) if the player is behind the three-point line. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins, but additional time (overtime) may be issued when the game ends with a draw. The ball can be advanced on the court by bouncing it while walking or running (dribbling) or throwing (passing) it to a teammate. It is a violation to move without dribbling the ball (traveling), to carry it, or to double dribble (to hold the ball with both hands then resume dribbling).
Various violations are generally called "fouls". Disruptive physical contact (a personal foul) is penalized, and a free throw is usually awarded to an offensive player if he is fouled while shooting the ball. A technical foul may also be issued when certain infractions occur, most commonly for unsportsmanlike conduct on the part of a player or coach. A technical foul gives the opposing team a free throw.
Basketball has evolved many commonly used techniques of shooting, passing, dribbling, and rebounding, as well as specialized player positions and offensive and defensive structures (player positioning) and techniques. Typically, the tallest members of a team will play "center", "power forward" or "small forward" positions, while shorter players or those who possess the best ball handling skills and speed play "point guard" or "shooting guard".

Michael’s return

In the 1993–94 seasons, the Bulls, without Jordan, achieved a 55–27 record, and lost to the New York Knicks in the second round of the playoffs. But the 1994–95 version of the Bulls was a shell of the championship squad of just two years earlier. Struggling at mid-season to ensure a spot in the playoffs, Chicago was 31–31 at one point in mid-March. The team received a lift, however, when Jordan decided to return to the NBA for the Bulls.

On March 18, 1995, Jordan announced his return to the NBA through a 2-word press release: "I'm back." The next day, Jordan donned jersey number 45 (his number with the Barons), as his familiar 23 had been retired in his honor following his first retirement. He took to the court with the Bulls to face the Indiana Pacers in Indianapolis, scoring 19 points. The game had the highest Nielsen rating of a regular season NBA game since 1975.

Although he hadn't played an NBA game in a year and a half, Jordan played well upon his return, making a game-winning jump shot against Atlanta in his fourth game back. He then scored 55 points in the next game against the Knicks at Madison Square Garden on March 28, 1995 (his first appearance at Madison Square Garden since retiring). Boosted by Jordan's comeback, the Bulls went 13-4 to make the playoffs and advanced to the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Orlando Magic. Though at the end of Game 1, Orlando's Nick Anderson stripped Jordan from behind, leading to the game-winning basket for the Magic; he would later comment that Jordan "didn't look like the old Michael Jordan", after which Jordan returned to wearing his old number (23). Jordan averaged 31 points per game in the series, but Orlando prevailed in 6 games.

While distantly get at times of the Greeks or Aztecs, references about basketball, the beginning of this modern game has its origins in a U.S. school in 1891. The promoter of this was one James Naismith, sports instructor at the YMCA (YMCA) in Springfield. James specified the thirteen rules of basketball which are still current, however there have been some changes to adapt to new times where the game mainly based on the speed with which points are scored and the dramatically write them down.

Caused by the long winters suffering Springfield, and the urgency of his students were kept entertained and in good physical condition, James considered creating a new game could be played indoors and in confined spaces. After spending several months studying existing sports and adopting the most attractive of each, Naismith achieving a set of requirements that should have this new sport:
- Affinity for the ball.
- Easy to learn
- That could be played on any terrain
- Attack the target permanent
- That there is a balance between attack and defense
- Not an aggressive sport

That's how slowly and after several trials, James finally make the sport known as basketball basket (basket) and ball (ball), the image of the game was simple; be played only with hands and would aim to put the ball in a basket, whence its name.

The team was founded in 1966; the team is well known for having one of the greatest dynasties in NBA and sports history during the 1990s.
